Sully's match.com photo

Breakfast of Champions

Fall is here, and with it comes built-in breakfast entertainment as the school buses & kids flock to the elementary school across the street. I'm pretty sure that Carly doesn't realize that she won't ever be taking the "dus!!!!" to school.

Visiting Dad

CQB and I went on a roadtrip last week, off to a bookstore to listen to a local kid entertainer. Turns out, "Mr. Flip" as I like to call him, is a bit dark and not much of an entertainer for the under 2 ft set, so we quickly bailed out and brought Greg lunch at his office instead. Let me just say that Carly was quite impressed....mostly with the spinning chair and escalator.

Getting Caught Up - Carly's Buddies

Another huge part of our summer has been getting together with Carly's buddies (and mine).

Not only does she enjoy checking out everyone's outfits, but everyone has such cool toys to try out as well. And when we aren't at someone's house playing with their toys, we are on field trips to hear sweet kid bands, to scope the 'grounds, and to completely cut loose at the petting farms. Here are a few shots...

Getting Caught Up - Roadtrips

Yes, I mentioned that we spent about 40 hours in the gas guzzler this summer traveling to Lake Michigan and Plymouth, MA. The good news is that both Carly & Sully definitely love Camp Rock and Camp White Horse, so the car time was worth the pain. We managed just fine, although I'll mention that Sully was much better on the way home each trip (must have something to do with the endless hours he spent diving for rocks). Carly enjoyed contributing the the chaos with her cousins at both camps, although little Jack still isn't nearly as loud as the P boys.

Getting Caught Up - 1st Birthday

It's was a long, hot summer, including a broken computer and 40 hours worth of roadtrips, which hurt my ability to keep up with the blog (apologies Bridget!). We even had a Cameron Mills summer intern, Scott, although for some reason we have no shots of his basement dwellings nor of any of the ladies he dated. Here are two highlights: Carly in her birthday finest (thanks to Duffy for her dress, which Nana saved from the cake stains) and a shot of Carly devouring her 1st birthday cake. I wonder where she gets her sweet tooth?
