March Madness

Our trip to Florida in March was pretty awesome. Greg breezed in & out for a few days, but we stayed for 10 days. Great weather, great digs, great fun. Thanks Mom!!

I took about 9,000,000 pictures on this particular day, trying to get a classic kid shot to send to all of my friends and family as sort of a make-up for my failed attempt to send Christmas cards. I just couldn't isolate one photo that captured both Carly and Teddy at their best. What the hell was I thinking? How badly do I try to idealize family with these color-coordinated outfits and combed hair? The crazy faces and awkward reactions are the reality of life right now.







Now, this picture makes it look like we were neglecting Carly as she walked into the surf. I have nothing to say, but just wanted to acknowledge that that's what it looks like.


You wouldn't know it from this angle, but I orchestrated an Easter egg hunt. Teddy just wanted to suck on the eggs and Carly just wanted to throw them...so Teddy couldn't get them. Jesus would be proud.
